Way Ahead for OTT ? Why not ?







With Disneys’ entry into OTT, Netflix and Amazon may need to bleed for the new/original content.

One of the use cases I developed in the last 2 months to think of new ways for revenue and content, I thought what if we can integrate Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Pay.


What if we can bring a show like KBC /Real-time game show on Amazon prime platform?

1. Where each question/episode is sponsored by some big company/brand/product and we are not going to have any ads in place but use the backgrounds, video screens in the show for promoting the product (we are moving from traditional 1 to 1 game show to 1 to many)

2. Instead of the cash prize to an individual question, normalize the scores based on response accuracy and speed for all the questions together and give the cashback (can vary Rs20-10K)

3. Send the cash rewards to linked amazon pay e-wallet (multiuser-login can’t help here)

4. Keeping their customer base in mind, even 5-10% participation can give amusing returns.


Tweak technology a bit and use new-age marketing, spend the advertising costs in rewarding our users as cashback. It’s a win-win situation for prime video and Amazon pay.
