manikumarjami.com is a personal site operated by Mani Kumar Jami, Bengaluru, India. By using any part of the site (including the Psychology Lab at /labs, Gold & Silver Rates at /gold-rates, MAPC exam prep at /mapc, the DriveX case study, and the blog), you agree to these terms.

What you can do

Read everything for free. No login required.

What you cannot do

Scrape, mirror, or republish content at scale without written permission.
Resell, redistribute, or sub-license the MAPC PDFs or any other paid or gated material.
Use the site or its data to train AI models without attribution to the source. Citation-friendly summaries are at /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt.
Submit false information, impersonate others, or interfere with the site's normal operation (scraping, denial-of-service, abusive automated requests).
Use the site if you are under 18.

They are not clinical diagnoses and not a substitute for evaluation by a licensed mental-health professional. Not financial advice. The rates published at /gold-rates are indicative estimates computed from international spot prices, the USD/INR exchange rate, an effective wholesale markup, and GST. They are not official IBJA or MCX-licensed rates and may differ from the actual price at your local jeweller during fast market movements or due to making charges, purity premiums, and local variations.

The rates and the price-alert subscription are provided "as is" for general reference.
Nothing on the page constitutes investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell gold, silver, or any other asset.
Always verify rates directly with a local jeweller, bank, or licensed bullion dealer before making a purchase, sale, or financial decision.
Past price movements shown in any chart or alert are not a guarantee of future performance.
The calculator at /gold-rates is a math utility, not a quote. Making charges, GST treatment, and purity premiums vary by jeweller.

MAPC exam prep: not an official IGNOU resource

The MAPC exam prep content at /mapc is an independent study aid prepared by Mani Kumar Jami. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the Master of Arts in Psychology (MAPC) programme, or any official examination body. Always consult the official IGNOU syllabus and study material for authoritative content.

Third-party advertisements (Google AdSense)

The Gold & Silver Rates pages and the MAPC pages display third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense. We do not control the specific ads shown, and inclusion of an ad does not constitute an endorsement of the advertised product or service. We have applied AdSense Brand Safety controls to block sensitive ad categories (gambling, dating, weight-loss, get-rich-quick, predatory loans, etc.) but the blocking is best-effort, not absolute. Report any inappropriate ad to manikumarjami@gmail.com.

Content on this site (text, code, design, illustrations, RPG narrative, lab interpretive copy, MAPC guides) is © Mani Kumar Jami unless otherwise noted. Open-source assessment instruments (Big Five IPIP, PHQ-9, GAD-7, ECR-S, etc.) are credited inline and remain under their respective licenses. Code samples in the blog are released under MIT unless otherwise stated.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator (Mani Kumar Jami) is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, the rates, the assessments, the exam prep materials, or any decision you make based on content here.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law (Consumer Protection Act 2019, Information Technology Act 2000, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023).

Privacy

Data handling is documented separately at /privacy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Changes to these terms

If we change anything substantive, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
